Data Deletion

When GoChatly receives a deletion request, GoChatly directly and permanently purges the platform data it holds on its servers. That includes access tokens, message logs, and uploaded media attachments. Deletion is completed within 30 days of receiving the request. Invoices and security logs may be kept longer when Bangladesh law or an open dispute requires it. The Privacy Policy describes the data itself.

1. If you remove the app in Meta settings

In Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Apps and websites, then remove GoChatly. On Instagram, open Settings, then Website permissions or Apps and websites, then remove GoChatly. On WhatsApp Business, remove the GoChatly connection from the business account that approved it.

To delete platform data GoChatly still holds, email privacy@gochatly.com and follow section 2. GoChatly purges that data directly from its systems. Deletion is completed within 30 days of receiving the request.

2. If you messaged a business

Email privacy@gochatly.com. Use the subject line “Data deletion” and include:

1. Your name, and an email address where we can confirm completion.
2. The Facebook Page name, Instagram username, or WhatsApp Business number you messaged.
3. The channel: Messenger, Instagram, or WhatsApp.
4. The name or phone number that appears on the chat, so we can find that record. Do not send passwords or payment card numbers.

On that request, GoChatly directly and permanently purges the platform data it holds on its servers for that person. The purge includes access tokens, message logs, and uploaded media attachments. Deletion is completed within 30 days of receiving the request. We reply to the address you wrote from when the purge is finished.

3. If you own a GoChatly workspace

To disconnect one channel and keep the rest of the workspace:

1. Sign in as the workspace owner.
2. Open Integrations or Settings, then the Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp connection.
3. Disconnect it.

Disconnecting deletes the stored access token and unsubscribes that Page, Instagram account, or WhatsApp business account from new messages. Past conversations stay until you delete the workspace or a customer’s deletion request removes their messages.

To delete the whole workspace:

1. Sign in as the workspace owner.
2. Open Profile.
3. In Danger zone, choose Delete workspace.
4. Type the business name exactly and confirm.

The workspace locks immediately. Team members cannot sign in or send messages. GoChatly then permanently purges the platform data on its servers: Meta subscriptions, access tokens, message logs, uploaded media, courier credentials, and the workspace records. Deletion is completed within 30 days of receiving the request. This cannot be undone after that removal. If you cannot sign in, email privacy@gochatly.com from the owner’s address, use the subject line “Data deletion”, and include the business name.

4. What deletion removes

• Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp access tokens and webhook subscriptions.
• Messages, comments, attachments, customer profiles, and orders in that workspace.
• Uploaded training files, product images, and related storage objects.
• The account, when the request is to close the business workspace.

We do not sell this data, and we do not keep it for advertising. A payment record required for tax may remain after the messages are gone.
